The name "SKETS" is inspired by the Afrikaans word for a drawing, which comes from the Greek term schedios, meaning "freehand drawing." Just like a "skets" is a raw, creative expression—a quick visual to capture an idea or spark the beginning of something bigger—our design process at SKETS begins with these first strokes of inspiration. A "skets" is more than a simple drawing; it's the seed of a masterpiece, a way to reflect something the artist envisions or a concept ready to take form. At SKETS, we embrace this idea in every project, turning initial sketches into architectural works of art that grow into the spaces you’ve always dreamed of.

At SKETS, we combine modern trends with timeless beauty, creating architectural designs that balance style and sustainability. With over 15 years of industry experience, our team delivers expertise and creativity to every project.
Charl – Architectural Draughtsperson: With a decade of experience dozens residential projects completed, Charl has worked with Patchcare Vermaak, Famous Brands, and various religious institutions. His vision and leadership ensure that each project perfectly aligns with clients' dreams.
Jacques – Technical and Structural Draughtsperson: Jacques brings 5 years of steel structure expertise, having worked on projects for mines in Gauteng and Mpumalanga, and with Mandarina Trading in the Vaal Triangle.
Ignat – Professional Architectural Technologist: Specializing in high-end residential and estate developments, Ignat ensures the seamless execution of designs using the latest technology for optimal results.
Michael – Professional Architectural Draughtsperson: Currently pursuing an architectural practice permit in Australia, Michael has completed significant projects for Barnlab and led numerous residential developments. His expertise in architectural standards and teaching in structural draughting ensures precision and quality.
Corné – Construction Professional and Site Contractor: With a background in construction management from the UK, Corné has worked on residential estates, shopping centers, and even a football stadium, ensuring each project is built to the highest standards.
Candice – Interior and Carpentry Designer: Candice brings specialized skills in kitchen and bedroom carpentry, extending her expertise to interior design. She has completed projects for major hotel groups across Africa.
Alishia – Interior Designer: Alishia holds a diploma in Interior Design and specializes in optimizing functional spaces through innovative furniture solutions.
